Nude modeling jobs and things to consider
If you're negotiating terms with a photographer for a nude model photoshoot, there are a few things that you are going to want to discuss and consider. This article will briefly take a look at discussing compensation, travel expenses as well as wardrobe, hair and makeup.
The most important item to negotiate is your compensation for modeling nude. The type of compensation is going to vary on the type of photo session that is going to be completed as well as the photographer themselves. Some will offer you an hourly rate of compensation and discuss the length of the nude photoshoot itself. Others will want to pay you a flat rate for the day or half day. Some photographers will also want to pay you based on completed photosets generated during the photoshoot. If this is the case you will want to discuss how long each photoshoot will last and how much setup and changeover will take place between each.
Travel expenses as well as accommodations should also be discussed it the nude modeling job requires you to travel outside of your local area. If you're planning on traveling across the country to work with a photographer, you are either going to have to handle the expenses or have them paid for you. Make sure this is discussed before agreeing to terms with a photographer. Some photographers gladly pay travel expenses for models that fit their business.
Finally you will want to discuss who is responsible for the hair, makeup and outfits that will be worn during your nude photo shoot. If you are the one that has to provide all of these, you will want to make sure that you are capable of doing it in a manner that is consistent with the photographer's previous work. Most professional photographers will purchase of have their own outfits for their models to wear but if you have something that you enjoy wearing, bring it along to show the photographer.
