P2 milyon isang araw isinuko sa Diyos
AKSYON NGAYON Ni Al G. Pedroche
Monday, July 28, 2008

Here is an article I got from http://www.richdadwisdom.com/ . Its important for us to know problems like this in order to achieve our goals in the future.
Your financial problems would have been caused by some (or all) of the following financial behavior:
Not planning: The single biggest problem for most people is that they just do not plan their finances. Even if they are not happy about the results of what they have done so far, they do not change the way things are done.
- Overspending: Many people with not very high incomes have very high ambitions. Most of this problem is because the salesmen in most shops do not tell you the price of a product, they only tell you the EMI - so anything from a plasma TV to a luxury home on the outskirts of the city are made to look cheap!
- Not talking finance at home: Children are kept away from the finance topics at the dining table. Finance is perhaps the second most taboo topic at home! So many children grow up without knowing how much of sacrifice their parents have gone through to educate them.
- Parents spending on education and marriage: There are just too many kids out there who believe that they need to worry about savings, investment and life insurance only at the age of 32 plus. This means your father, father-in-law or a bank loan has funded your education and marriage. Kids should take on financial responsibility at a much younger age than what is happening currently.
- Marriage between financially incompatible people: Most marriages under stress are actually under financial stress. Either the husband or the wife is from a rich background and the other partner cannot understand or cope with the spending pattern. It is necessary to match people financially before marriage.
- Delaying saving for retirement : “I am only 27 years old why should I think of retirement“ seems to be a very valid refrain for many 32-year olds! Every year that you delay in investing the greater the amount that you will have to save later in your life. Till the age of 32 it might be feasible for you to catch up, but after some time the amount that you need to save for retirement just flies away.
- Very little life insurance: With all the risks of life styles, travel, etc. illness and premature death are common. We all have classmates who had heart attack at the age of 32 but still pretend that we do not need life or medical insurance.
- Not prepared for medical emergencies: Normally big emergencies - financially speaking - are medical emergencies. Being unprepared for them - by not having an emergency fund is quite common.
- Falling prey to financial pitches: The quality of pitches has improved! Aggressive young kids are recruited by brokerage houses, banks, mutual funds, life insurance companies, etc. and all these kids are selling mutual funds, life insurance, portfolio management schemes, structured products, et al.
- Buying financial products from `obligated persons`: This is perhaps one of the worst things you can do in your financial life. A friend, relative, neighbor, colleague who has been doing something else suddenly becomes a financial guru because they have become an agent! You are saddled with a dud product for life!
- Financial illiteracy: Most people do not wish to know or learn about financial products. They simply ask, Where do I have to sign? So buying a mutual fund is easier than buying life insurance!
- Ignoring small numbers for too long: What difference will it make if I save $100 a month? Well over a long period it could make you a millionaire! So start early and invest wisely. It will make you rich. That is the power of compounding.
- Urgent vs important: Most expenses, which look urgent, are perhaps not so important - the shirt or shoe at a sale. That luxury item which was being offered at 30% discount is such an example. These small leakages are all reducing the amount of money you will have for the bigger things like education or retirement.
- Focusing too much on money: Money is no longer a commodity to buy things. It is a scorecard of one`s life. That will cause stress, and yoga might help. However if you will seek a branded yoga teacher - so that your friends think you have arrived, yoga it self could cause financial stress!

So I think I found the answer to my problem. hello wellness byebye boredom lols. So yesterday I went to a seminar of AIM global inc., I was invited by my cousin and he just said to me that he has a business to share with me so I immediately went there. At first I thought it was just another crappy networking thingy that I attended and turned down before, but this time this I’m convinced with the prouduct they are trying to sell me. Its nature’s way Alive! Whole Food Energizer and some other cosmetic products. I was really hesitant at first because the claims are to good to be true, but then my close relatives from Tagaytay and some of my mom’s medical doctor friend testified to the effectiveness of the product. So then I tried and paid for the distributor’s premium. It offers a lot of benefits and privilages plus the fact that its going to be a sure hit on my bank account. weee.. I will post pics of my 1st pay check to prove its true.
anyway I would like to share with to you some of the reviews I found on the internet. All the reviews I found are positive so now I’m more convinced to sell this product aside from the fact that I’m taking it myself.

here are some reviews
Product review: Alive! Whole Food Energizer, a whole foods vitamin and nutritional supplement that fights chronic disease
Alive! is one supplement that gets it right. This supplement is so good that it’s almost surprising it’s so widely available. Its vitamins and minerals come from whole food and superfood sources that are nothing short of miraculous in their ability to prevent and even reverse chronic disease. Of course, the Alive! label can’t make such claims, but the scientific literature is full of clinical studies showing that these superfoods are powerful agents in reversing chronic disease like cancer, diabetes, heart disease and many more.
If you put all this together (all vegestable ingridients in alive), you have a rather impressive assortment of health-boosting, disease-busting plant-derived superfood ingredients that practically anyone would do well to add to their diet. There’s not a person alive who wouldn’t benefit from taking Alive!

“Nature’s Way to good health”
he was struck with 3rd stage of cancer at age of 30+… diagnosed with few months to live… undetered with the chemo and treatment to stay alive… he decided to change his way of living, his diet and lifestyle… within 9 months, he FULLY RECOVERED!
he is no GOD… 30 years after the cancer recovery, he decided on this book (after years of research and patient cases)…
his method requires some determination…
some tips from the book (still reading):
1) drink his method of juices (comprising mostly of vegetables, fruits, nuts, etc)… depending on whether you need to strengthen immune system, reduce high blood or high sugar, etc… at least 4 to 6 glasses per day… try to drink half hour before actual meal… try for 4 to 6 months.
2) drink a lot of ‘clean / distilled’ water.
3) clear bowels at least 3 times daily… if cannot be done, try to take high fibre powder to achieve that.
4) exercise at least 30 minutes (brisk walking) daily.

I’ve been bothered by this career thing for weeks already. It caused me some sleepless night and brought my anxiety back. Thanks to google for giving me some temporary remedy. anyway heres an article that somehow give me some light. go read…

Choose suitable career for you
Select Suitable Career
Are you wondering which career direction is right for you? Whether you’re a college student preparing for graduation or an established professional unsure about a midlife change, deciding upon a career can be difficult. To select one, you must know something about yourself, the world of work and how to find occupations that are suitable for you — this is no easy task.
Your decision may have lifelong ramifications; for example, your choice of career can play a major role in determining your income, status within your community, opportunities for success, circle of friends and even your choice of a spouse. The career you choose helps shape your identity and sense of self-worth. Please read the following carefully and you will be able to take a better decision:
Begin with a Thorough Self-Assessment.
Through the use of personal-awareness techniques, peer-assessment surveys, professional testing or counseling, your first objective should be to identify your interests, skills, values, needs and behavioral traits.
Time for Research.
Using what you’ve learned about your interests, review various sources of occupational information to identify occupations you feel best match your interests. Many career “crosswalk” systems have been developed that identify occupations related to interest patterns. You will more than likely find several occupations that match your interests. Use these jobs to form your list of career possibilities.
Learn More.
Now research job titles on your list to learn more about each option. Gather such information as duties, entrance qualifications, training options, salary and benefits, advancement opportunities, and positive and negative working conditions. This information can be obtained through printed literature or actual conversations with workers.
Make a Tentative Career Decision.
Based upon what you know about your interests and matching occupations, select an occupation to pursue. Don’t worry about making a bad or final decision at this point. Just make the best decision you can.
Test Out Your Decision.
It’s often impossible to determine if an occupation is right for you without trying it out, and there are several ways to do this. You could take a related course, work as a volunteer, shadow a professional worker for a day, interview several people working at the job or take a part-time job within your chosen field. Do something to get a feel for the real job. Test all your career options before moving onto the next step.
Make a Final Career Decision.
Based upon what you know about your personality and the world of work, select an occupation you feel is the best match for you. If you experience difficulty with this step, consult a professional career counselor for assistance.
You’re Almost Done.
Finally, if appropriate, complete any necessary training to develop the recommended qualifications. Upon completion of this step, you should be ready to seek a position in your chosen field.
Naturally, no short article, including this one, can truly take you through a complete career-planning program like the one illustrated above. But hopefully you’ll be inspired to start the process. Whatever career you elect to pursue, make sure you first give it careful consideration. Your future will thank you.

CAREER DECISIONS (Written by an HR professional)
1) For one, you shouldn’t leave because you don’t like several people in the company, nor should you stay because of the friends you have made here. At the end of the day, it is your life. Your friends or “enemies” should not make or break your career. If you let them be the deciding factor, then maybe you should think twice. You are the craftsman of your fate and the captain of your ship. Captain Hook shouldn’t be one of your worries!
2) Do not leave nor stay because of the “brand” of your company. If that was the case, I would have rushed off and sign my JO in “C”! Ask yourself whether you want to be a big fish in a small pond or a small fish in a bigger pond. Know your priorities. Only you can answer that.
3) Do not leave the company because you’re so damn frustrated about the way things are being run, or stay because you have this “messianic complex” that you can change things overnight. Be realistic about the things.
Learn to accept that there is no perfect company. Be accepting that change is a slow and painful process at times and be thankful that you realize and act on things that can be changed and improved.
4) Definitely, do not leave or stay just because your parents want you to. I know I am advocating obedience to parents but again, we are talking about YOUR career. But learn to value their wisdom and discern well.
5) Money isn’t everything. The package being offered now might be better but look at the long-term prospects. Do not leave or stay just solely on the compensation package. Look for growth prospects and review their career plans for you. Your immediate gains today might actually be a loss a few years from now if you do the Math.
6) Boredom is another challenge all professionals are faced with during lull periods in their career. Do not leave because you have become so bored with your job. Do not stay either because you want things as they are. Change is inevitable in any organization. Talk to your boss. Ask for more responsibilities or other tasks if you’re bored. Enroll in a special course. If you’re satisfied with the status quo and is just waiting for retirement hoping things will stay the same, you’re in for a big disappointment - either you will be forced to change or you will be forced to leave. Be ready before that time comes. Boredom or complacency is perennial battle most professionals have to deal with. Arm yourself with creativity everyday!
7)Tonight I suggest you rest well. Sit still and listen to what He is saying. PRAY. I have always made my career decisions through His guidance. He was and still is my Career Adviser/Talent Manager. Your work, our work, is a vocation. He knows us more than we know ourselves so trust Him for whatever plans He has for you. You can never go wrong.
Trust me it works!!!!
And remember: Use your head to get to the top. But use your heart to stay.

SEAOIL Philippines Inc., the largest independent retailer of petroleum products in the country, has introduced an industry-first prepaid card that pegs a customer’s gasoline purchase at P53.50 per liter.
Company officials explained that the Price Lock Prepaid Fuel Card can be used to buy 20 liters of gasoline (G5 X-treme and Unleaded) from any SEAOIL participating stations. The selling period is from June 10-16, 2008. Each card costs P1,070 and is valid for 10 weeks (June 10 up to August 16, 2008).
Since the price has been fixed, cardholders will have an easier time budgeting their fuel expenses as they will be insulated from further spikes in gasoline costs during the promo period.
In the less likely event of a price rollback also during the period, i.e. the price goes down to less than P53.50 a liter, SEAOIL will refund unused (unscratched) fuel prepaid cards.
The Price Lock Prepaid Fuel Card will be made available at the following participating SEAOIL stations: EDSA, Imelda Avenue, Maybunga, P.Tuazon, Pasig Boulevard, Commonwealth, Malabon, Merville, Paco, E. Rodriguez, Paraluman, Mindanao Avenue, Panaderos, Tandang Sora and Buendia.
SEAOIL will also be selling the prepaid card in the following offsite points: Metrowalk and Tiendesitas in Pasig City, Greenhills Shopping Center in San Juan and Shopwise in Cubao, Quezon City.
The card is valid for a single transaction only, which means customers should use up its entire 20-liter value since any unconsumed amount, such as a 19-liter purchase, will forfeit the remaining card value.
Only SEAOIL station attendants are authorized to scratch the silver coating of the prepaid card upon purchase and claim the same card after the customer fills up.

Tips on Filling Fuel in Your Vehicles
As we all know, its an inevitable truth that gas prices is going to cost an and a leg. Dubai will soon run out of fuel and the whole world thats why gas prices just keeps on going up. The best thing we can do today is maximize all the fuel we are paying for, lets start from the refilling station before we go on our car’s consumption. here are some tips I found that will save us some liters of gas.

Soon
ONLY BUY OR FILL UP YOUR VEHICLES IN THE EARLY MORNING WHEN THE GROUND TEMPERATURE IS STILL COLD.
Remember that all service stations have their
storage tanks buried below ground. The colder the ground, the denser the
fuel, when it gets warmer petrol expands, so buying in the afternoon or
in the evening…. Your litre is not exactly a litre.
In the petroleum business, the specific gravity and the temperature of
the petrol, diesel and jet fuel, ethanol and other petroleum products
play an important role. A 1degree rise in temperature is a big deal for
this business.
But the service stations do not have temperature compensation at the
pumps.
WHEN YOU’RE FILLING UP, DO NOT SQUEEZE THE TRIGGER OF THE NOZZLE TO A
FAST MODE.
If you look, you will see that the trigger has three (3) stages: low,
middle, and high. In slow mode (you can tell it to the gasoline boy/girl), you should be pumping on low speed,
thereby minimizing the vapours that are created, while you are pumping.
All hoses at the pump have a vapour return. If you are pumping on the
fast rate, some of the liquid that goes to your tank becomes vapour.
Those vapours are being sucked up and back into the underground storage
tank so you’re getting less worth for your money.
ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT TIPS IS TO FILL UP WHEN YOUR TANK IS HALF
FULL.
The reason for this is, the more fuel you have in your tank, the less
air occupying its empty space. Petrol evaporates faster than you can
Imagine. Petroleum storage tanks have an internal floating roof. This
roof serves as zero clearance between the petrol and the atmosphere, so
it minimizes the evaporation.
Unlike service stations, here where I work, every truck that we load is
temperature compensated, so that every litre is actually the exact
amount.
ANOTHER REMINDER, IF THERE IS A FUEL TRUCK PUMPING INTO THE STORAGE
TANKS, WHEN YOU STOP TO BUY, DO NOT FILL UP
most likely the
petrol/diesel is being stirred up as the fuel is being delivered, and
you might pick up some of the dirt that normally settles on the bottom.
Hope, this will help you get the maximum value for your money.
DO SHARE THESE TIPS WITH OTHERS! LET’S SHARE INFORMATION AND BENEFIT ALL, FOR THE BETTER OF MANKIND..
