I’ve been trying out different steaks for about two months now. I dunno why but the cravings is always present when I feel my stomach is shouting for food. Anyway I always keep on telling myself that I’ll be writing reviews of different restos here in my blog but to my satisfaction I’m thinking otherwise because I’m having a hard time comparing them.
Anyway, now I’m writing this because I was disappointed with the steak at Tender Bob’s Shangrila branch. Yesterday, my friends and I craved for red meat so we looked for a great steak at Shangrila mall. Steak town was the first thing that came into my mind but the price was way to out of the budget, so we decided to eat at Tender Bob’s. I ordered the Rib eye steak, hungry size (10oz said by the waitress), medium well. I was really disappointed with the meat because it was not really as tender and juicy as I expected, as compared to the same local steak I ate at Steak plus, and Butter Diner. The juicy meat was nowhere to be found. The sauce in the other hand was good enough to compensate my disappointment. The Rib eye steak was priced at 430php, reasonable enough given that the meat was served right.
Next time I crave for red meat, I’d rather go to steak plus.

Yeah you read it right, Its Kristine running on 18 Racing Hart CX-R rims with 35 series Pirelli Dragon tires. The ride was stiff matagtag since its on a very low profile tire, but its tolerable anyway. The hardest part however is when I need to stop on almost all road bumps to prevent my rims from getting damaged or benkong another thing are those road islands or gutters that needs great attention when parking or executing turns. But the overall looks of the car compensates it all.

The latest ruling from the Department of Transportation & Communications (DOTC) regarding the use and issuance of commemorative plates says, “The commemorative plate shall not be superimposed over the regular plate. It shall be installed in front of a motor vehicle either at the right side or left side of the regular plate. As such, the regular plate shall be maintained in the space provided for the purpose. Removal thereof shall be deemed a violation of this order. No commemorative plate shall be installed at the rear of a motor vehicle. Placing the commemorative plate at the rear of a motor vehicle shall be strictly prohibited and penalized accordingly.”
Too bad for the owners of commemorative plates here in the Philippines, having two plates on the bumpers will surely look bad. Good thing I have read this before getting a commemorative plate.

2 Steps Forward 1 Step Back
One of the best things you can do when seducing women is a little method I called “2 steps forward, 1 step back”. When you are with a woman, start to escalate things. Cologne Trick
One tip that I learned from a friend I met via the community was as slick as it comes. Carry one of those tiny ass sample bottle of cologne in your pocket when you go to a chicks house. We celebrated my grandfathers 92nd birthday at the penthouse of my uncle in one the the prestigious condominiums in Makati City. I was very excited when my aunt informed me about it because I know its going to be a perfect opportunity for me to get a bird’s eye view of Makati.
It was just my 2nd time to come to this place, and it never fails to amaze me. Its like I’m in a different country when I’m at my uncle’s place. The view at night is breathtaking, plus the overall design of the place was perfect. Indeed pa perfect place to live in, its like living in a hotel room. We had a great buffet dinner and had a bottle of wine. The oldies are inside while the me and my cousins are chilli’n in the veranda drinking our red wine. While waiting we saw the line up of airplanes waiting for there turn to land at the NAIA, it was a view that not everyone can see. Its a perfect bachelor’s pad.

HID conversion kits on non-HID ready headlamps (any type of halogen reflector lamps) are bad for you and fellow motorists. it can be summed up in four words: MORE GLARE, LESS LIGHT.
Glare causes fellow motorists to be dazzled and blinded by the light and therefore, could lead to nasty accidents. aligning them (pointing them downward) doesn’t really reduce the glare but just… points the beam more to the ground - which defeats the purpose of going HID which is to provide better illumination. while these HID kits aren’t illegal on our roads, it doesn’t mean that we should still keep using them. if we want to use HIDs on our non-HID ready headlamps, retrofitting (installing proper HID projectors) is the way to go. that way, we maximize the use of our HIDs and we don’t become a nuisance on the road to fellow motorists.
Fast Line — the objective in this turn set is to maximize the exit speed coming out of the hairpin. The straight after the hairpin is longer than the one leading into it after turn 1, therefore maximizing speed coming out of turn 3 is more important than maximizing speed heading into turn 2.
To do this, the driver must drive a line which allows the earliest acceleration point. Planning the line by working the corners in reverse (because the highest priority one is the last one), the driver would want to late apex the entry to the hairpin to allow early acceleration out of it (show by the green arrow). To carry the highest speed possible into that late apex, the line to the apex must have as large a radius as possible (the radius prior to the green arrow). To accomplish a large radius entry into the hairpin, the left hand bend of turn 2 must be entered with a very late apex, allowing the car to travel the far left side of the track through turn 2, then into a wide radius late apex for the hairpin.
This line creates a very short straight through turn 2 into turn 3. Depending on the speed of the car coming out of turn 1, the braking line through turn 2 is likely to be too short. Additionally, because of the sharpness of the hairpin, it will be easy to create understeer entering the turn from either too sharp a turn-in or not easing off the brakes smooth enough. This is a very tight corner set and a common mistake will be to brake very hard through the short straight in turn 2, jump off the brakes quickly for the turn-in to the hairpin, and sharply turn the wheel. This will create a lot of understeer, and slow the car significantly.
To maximize the speed through the hairpin, it will be important to come off the brakes smoothly, and have a smooth turn in. To set up for this, most braking may have to be done before the turn-in to turn 2, the trail braking through the turn-in, and easing up through the apex of turn 2. Entering the short little straight of turn 2 a little too slow is not going to cost as much time as entering it too fast, understeering and going wide through the hairpin, and delaying the point of getting back onto the gas. Such a mistake will cost several MPH of top speed down the following straight.
Slow Line — this line might be your first instinct. It carries higher speed into the corner set by taking a straight path between the two bends of turns 2 and 3. This reduces the initial turn-in, and delays the braking point. It will feel much faster heading into the turns, and that segment will indeed be faster than the fast line alternative shown.
However, that fast entry line causes an early apex on the right hand bend heading into the hairpin. An early apex pushes the car to the outside of the track early to carry speed through the initial part of the corner. After that, a very tight turn after apexing is required to stay on the track. Compared to a late apex for the second bend, this requires a slower speed throughthe hairpin, and delays the point where you can get back on the gas. This line is faster for a short distance through turn 2, but is much slower along the entire straight after turn 3.
